Discology's range of disc
golf targets are designed and manufactured in the UK.
The engineering company
that builds our targets, originally designed and supplied
targets for the UK's first disc golf course at the University
of Essex in 1983.

CHAINTECH
Our range of disc golf targets is called the CHAINTECH
Series.
The current range of CHAINTECH
targets are designed to be used on disc golf courses
or for setting up in the back garden. The smart design,
strong build and galvanising means that these tough
targets go on for ever and ever in an outdoor environment.
The baskets can be permanently
fixed in to the ground, by setting in concrete. There
is also a semi-permanent fixing opton and we produce
a mobile target which can be set up/dismantled in seconds.
All models are designed
to meet with PDGA recommendations and guidelines.

Features double chains. Proven exceptional disc
catching performance. Off set chain positioning
to reduce chances of disc sliding through chains.
Fully galvanised. Designed to meet with PDGA recommendations

Extra Feature: Dual Visibility Bands* - Two steel
orange bands are fixed to the top of the chain assembly
to give improved target visibility and also creates
a very attractive design.
The upper band
and lower band are useful spaces for applying hole
number stickers and for advertising purposes. |

Pro

The only difference
betweeb the Classic and the Pro is the Pro
has a modified outer chainlink fixture.
The outer chainlink fixture has an improved
sliding link mechanism that allows the outer
chains to slide along the link fixture upon
impact.
This increases
the capacity to absorb the impact of the
disc hitting the chains, improving the catching
performance of the chains.

Base/Ground
Fixture Options:
Chaintech disc golf targets come with 3 choices
of bases.
|

- Mobile
Base - The 3 footed base comes with 3
x 12 inch steel ground pegs.
- Permanent
Base - target consists of a single pole.
The pole is sunk 12 inches into the ground
and cemented in.

Semi-Permanent
Base* - A 15 inch base collar is cemented
into the ground and the main pole sits
inside the base collar and is secured
with a bolt. This allows the target
to be removed from the base collar when
required. The semi permanent base option
is useful for courses offering multiple
pin locations for holes. Also suitable
for semi permanent courses.
There
are two base collar designs - one rises
a few inches out of the ground, the
other collar is flush with the ground.
The Flush Base Collar* design allows
grass mowers to mow over the top of
the collar without obstruction.
