Seeking Partnerships

Across the world, disc golf iis experiencing significant growth and increasing awareness. Scandinavia and North America have been particularly quick to see the potential as a sport and also realise the social benefits that disc golf brings to a community. The UK is making positive inroads towards catching up with the pace setters and has enjoyed steady growth over the last 5 years.

Discology's primary sports focus is developing disc golf in the UK. To achieve this we are looking to form partnerships with commercial and voluntary organisations in the UK with the aim of introducing disc golf to a wider audience.

A disc golf course can appeal to such a wide spectrum of the community. Discology is seeking partnerships within the following industries:

• Education
• Health & Fitness

Here are a few key areas with opportunities for support and development:

• Establishing suitable sites and environments for setting up and managing new disc golf courses.
  
• Initiating projects that introduce disc golf to a younger audience - especially schools and youth orientated campaigns.
  
• Improving and increasing the general public's level of awareness.
  
• Improving and increasing exposure and quality of national and international disc golf tournaments. Ultimately, looking towards developing UK players to compete at World Class levels.
